I was assigned to great a personal narrative based on my life experiences. I had many memories I wanted to narrate but there was one in particular that stuck out to me.
The memory I chose was a house party I attended in Oakville and felt really grateful
in that moment. To be surrounded in great classmates and an unforgettable view.
My strategy to make this illustration was create a lot of chaotic energy while having my moment despite what was going around me.
The challenge was to draw all these people to create that party energy. I found that the solution that helped me through this illustration was to create silhouettes in the window to add that crowded feeling to the piece.
Overall, this is one of my favourite illustrations I made because of how personal this memory was to me and turned out great.
